Q. What items will you accept?
A. We accept items related to infants, children & expecting mothers such as clothing from Preemie to Kid's size 16, TOYS of ALL SIZES (no plush), books, DVD's, strollers, baby equipment, shoes, wagons, play structures, nursery items, play equipment, bedding, toddler beds, changing tables, etc.
Q. Can I participate in your sale if my tags don't have barcodes?
A. No. We require ALL items to have barcoded tags generated from the online inventory system. When you print your tags, please use WHITE cardstock (65lb is best) and print the tags using your GENERAL/STANDARD print settings. If you print too dark, your tags won't scan and this causes BIG problems at checkout.
Q. How can I shop the sale before the public?
A. Consign to shop early & volunteer to shop EVEN EARLIER! All volunteers get to shop the EXCLUSIVE Volunteer VIP Presale, which means volunteers shop BEFORE EVERYONE ELSE! All consignors are eligible to volunteer at the sale.
First time new moms have their own presale shopping time, as well. New Moms/Foster Moms will receive their passes via e-mail. Please see the "Shop" page to see specific shopping times!
Q. Can I bring a guest with me when I shop at the presale?
A. Consignors & volunteers are not allowed to bring guests with them to the presales. If you have a friend who wants to shop with you, have them sign up to consign too!
First time moms will be allowed one guest for the Wednesday morning presale. As a first time mom, we can all understand how confusing and overwhelming it can be when deciding what to purchase for your little one. Often times, new moms like to bring along their mom, grandma, or friend to help them shop.
Q. When do I pick up my unsold items that I don't wish to donate?
A. Unsold items are to be picked up at the designated time, which can be found on the Shop page. All items not picked up at that time will automatically be donated to Healthy Start of Clackamas County and the Wichita Family Support Center both amazing resources that helps families right here in our own community.
Q. How will I know what items have sold?
A. At the end of each sale day, I upload your sales to the website where you can login to your account and see what you have sold. I usually get to this late in the evening - so please be patient and keep checking back.
Q. Where do I find the hangers that you require?
A. TATB accepts all types of plastic hangers. You can find plastic hangers at Old Navy, Kohls, Carter's and other department stores. Always call ahead so you don't waste your time driving around. Craigslist is also a great way to find hangers - check the "Free" section! If you are in a bind, please contact me to get hangers (firstname.lastname@example.org). I'm happy to help! They go fast, as it is first come ~ first serve!
Q: Can I bring my children to my volunteer shift?
We love that kiddos would want to join you at your volunteer shifts however our insurance requires all volunteers be 16 years or older. Nursing babies that are in an Ergo or baby wearing are ok as long as they are worn at all times. We do offer a mothers room if the location allows!
